When I got engaged, the only thing I knew for certain was that I wanted Coral Dove Studios to photograph my wedding. Over the year it took to plan my wedding, Caitlin accommodated (and graciously tolerated) my numerous venue, date changes, and everything in between. My wedding photos are some of the most unique and beautiful images I’ve ever seen. The way Coral Dove Studios are able to capture not just a moment, but the true essence and feeling of an experience, is remarkable. We had a small casual wedding in D.C. and Caitlin was able to capture the day so beautifully! We really fell in love with her documentary style photography. The way she is able to capture the special moments in a natural and artistic way made us want to work with her. We also loved her use of both digital and film photography. It was really exciting waiting for the film to develop, which did not take long, and the photos turned out amazing! She was so kind, patient, and beyond helpful throughout the entire day. Caitlin was one of our favorite parts of planning our wedding so far. She shot our engagement photos and we had the best experience. She really took her time in our session and never made us feel rushed. She also paid attention to us and what mattered to us, including our pets and our home. INCREDIBLE. I want to start with a big, bold word to catch your attention because that's exactly what Coral Dove Studios is. Caitlin (photographer) & team were the photographers for my wedding and I could not have dreamed-up a better group. Not only were they utter professionals, they were kind, made my [now] husband and I feel totally at ease, and acted not only as top-notch photographers but as helping hands, coaches, and were an altogether calming presence on an otherwise hectic day. And the outcome?? The most delicious, stunning, artistic gallery of photographs I could have asked for. We received both film and digital and had so many drop-dead beautiful shots we hardly knew which to pic (I think we've saved over 200 favorites). The pictures captured our day so perfectly. Outside of our family formals, they were candid and so of-the-moment and just a really excellent portrayal of how my husband and I felt that day.

Caitlin at Coral Dove photographed our small dinner party wedding and after party at a local bar in Queens. She was delightful to work with from our first introductory call, and really understood the vision I had. Her photography style is really unique and I love how the pictures transport me right back to that special night!
